Thomas Tayebwa takes Ruhinda North NRM Flag bearer ticket
Mr. Tayebwa won 166 villages out of 168 in the constituency and scored 80.7% of the total votes. He increased from 73.2% he got from last term’s primaries five years ago.
“Thank you Ruhinda North for the great support in today’s NRM Parliamentary Primaries. We have won 166 out of 168 villages in our county. I really can’t thank you enough. For us to improve on our percentage of 5 years ago from 73.2% to 80.7% is a big vote of confidence in our leadership. We promise to do even better. I also congratulate my brother Dr. Moses Twimukye for putting up a spirited fight. He was a worthy competitor.
