Frank Tumwebaze retains Kibale East seat

The Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development Hon. Frank Tumwebaze has overwhelming won Kibale East NRM Primaries in Kamwenge District.

Hon. Frank who also doubles as the current area MP is the NRM flag bearer for the same constituency in next year’s general elections.

Mr. Tumwebaze scored 81.6% against his rivals Asasira Dickens who scored 6.6% and Bahati Kato Justus who scored 11.9%.

The Minister thanked people of Kibale for the overwhelming support they offered to him.

“From the deep bottom of my heart, i express my profound gratitude to the great pple of Kibale East for this BOLD & clear Vote of confidence of 82%. To my kakuyege team #TeamFrank , to my prayer support team led by my dear wife Kabibi Florence, i can only say, Thank you,” Frank Tumwebaze said after he was declared.
