Sironko District Woman MP elect, Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo, has endorsed the current Speaker of 11th Parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among to continue serving into the next Parliament which is 12th.
Speaking over the weekend, Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo who overwhelming defeated incumbent Sironko District Woman MP Hon. Florence Nambozo on 15th January 2026, said she supports Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among to continue serving because she has been doing excellent job and with energy.
She has called on all others members of Parliament to support her for the second term.
Hon. Mafabi described Rt. Hon. Among who also doubles as Bukedea District Woman MP elect, as a generous person who has contributed and helped many in terms of development. On the person level, she said the speaker gave her many bursaries which have helped many students from Sironko District to access better education.
Mafabi also added that Among has served NRM party with energy and resilience and she deserves to be rewarded, adding that she has also served the 11th Parliament very well. Hon. Mafabi encouraged all MPs especially NRM ones to support her saying NRM is a family.
