Motivational speaker, Founder of civil rights activist of National Action for Awakening (Sisimuka Uganda) and chairman of Mali Group of Companies, Frank Malingumu Gashumba has scoffed at media reports that NTV Uganda Luganda news anchor and Tuwaye presenter Frank Walusimbi is quitting the station calling it false and misleading Ugandans.

While posting on his social media page, the activist and a renowned NRM government critic said that the Frank Walusimbi he knows cant just resign from NTV and join an upcoming Local TV station unless he is appointed as the Managing Director of that new TV Station. Below is his statement about Walusimbi’s rumoured quitting of NTV Uganda;
Frank Gashumba has said Walusimbi cant resign from NTV Uganda
“Every thing is dead in this country, when i see what Ugandans post on the social media, what the so called Newspapers write about that’s when you can realize we have like 1000 years to go. I first saw it online and now its in today’s Newspapers that someone i respect, someone i think has a better future ahead of him, a man that has built his own brand, a man that has interviewed me more than five times that he is quitting NTV, the Frank Walusimbi i know cant resign from NTV and join an upcoming Local TV station unless he is appointed as the Managing Director of a new TV Station. It has been said on many radio stations too, take it from me Frank is not leaving NTV and kindly Ugandans don’t believe each and everything you read online or these Newspapers you see in Uganda. The only accurate thing in Uganda’s Newspapers is the date of the day and btw sometimes they write wrong dates. Yes data is cheap but knowledge is costly, that’s why every fly is on social media posting nonsense and falsehoods,”. Frank M. Gashumba posted.
