

Uganda records 7 new cases of COVID-19
The Ministry of Health Uganda has announced 7 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
Results from samples tested on 20 June 2020 confirm 7 new COVID-19 cases and this brings the total cases to 770 in Uganda.


The 7 cases are; 2 truck drivers from Points of Entry: 1 from Elegu and 1 from Malaba, 5 are among contacts and alerts: 3 from Kyotera, 2 from Amuru.
In related news, 12 foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 and were returned to countries of origin.
Uganda has so far registered a total Recoveries of 578.
Samples from Points of Entry tested: 1,843, Samples from alerts and contacts: 1,082, Samples from health workers: 10
Total samples tested yesterday are 2,935.
