Following yesterday’s extreme weather event in Mbale City, our rescue teams are on course with restoration works of Manafwa pumping main restoration works.
Pipeline alignment, welding/jointing shall be completed tonight.
We envision pumping to resume tomorrow on completion of gabion and provisional Anchorage works.
Emergency team 2 is working to restore the intake transmission main at River Nabuyonga while
Team 3 is working on River Nabijjo intake and Raw water transmission line.
The teams are determined to have all water treatment plants restored in the shortest time possible. #waterman.
