Deputy Speaker impressed by Asan Kasingye’s new book
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon Thomas Tayebwa said he was impressed by the new book titled ‘Chosen’ authored by Rtd AIGP Asan Kasingye.
The Deputy Speaker was the chief guest at the launch of the book on Saturday at Akamwesi Gardens.
“I have been honored to launch the book, “Chosen”, authored by my brother AIGP (Rtd) Asan Kasingye, this evening at the Akamwesi Gardens. The book tells the story of his journey from his community of origin to the community of police. I encourage you all especially the young people to read this inspirational piece that entails dedication, discipline and hard work as the bottom line for success in any career path. I congratulate Mr. Kasingye upon this remarkable milestone,” Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa tweeted on Saturday after the launch.
On the same day, Deputy Speaker graced the wedding ceremony of Gerald Muhwezi aka Reliq of Vision Group and his newly wedded wife Praise Nabireeba. He wished the couple a blessed marriage.
“I attended the wedding reception of Gerald Muhwezi and Praise Nabireeba, daughter to Mr & Mrs George Rwamuriro, senior citizens from Rutookye Town Council, Ruhinda North. I congratulate the couple and wish them a blessed marriage,” Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa tweeted.
