National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) to commemorate the International World water day yesterday, NWSC staff across the country engaged in cleaning communities, sensitising customers and tree planting activities.
In Kampala, NWSC Board chair Dr.Eng Christopher Ebal spearheaded a community cleaning exercise and tree planting with the young water professionals a group of youth passionate about the Environment, water and sanitation.
The group cleaned Ggaba market at Ggaba landing site, sensitised the vendors and planted over 1500 trees around Ggaba water works.
