Mukasa Mbidde’s wife dead

Bukomansimbi Woman MP Susan Namaganda wife to Mukasa Mbidde has passed following a road accident along the Kampala-Masaka highway.

The accident occurred at about 2am today morning near Mpigi town council according to Democratic Party organising secretary Innocent Katerega.

She was traveling to Kampala to attend a parliamentary session today morning. They had a head on collision and she was rushed to Nakasero hospital where she succumbed to internal bleeding. Katerega says the body is in Nakasero Hospital.

She has left behind a one-year-old baby girl. Namaganda is wife to the East African Legislative Assembly MP, Mukasa Mbidde. Born on April 10, 1984, Namaganda became Bukomansimbi’s first Woman MP in 2011 following the district’s creation in July 2010.
