Minister lauds Jinja Hospital workers

The State Minister for Health in charge of Primary Health Care, Hon. Joyce Moriku Kaducu yesterday paid a courtesy call to Jinja Regional Referral hospital and appreciated the hard work and diligence of the hospital staff led by the Director; Dr. Florence and the SPNO; Sr. Lubega.

The minister also urged the staff to wear Personal Protective gear at all times, observe infection prevention and control measures and adhere to the Ministry of Health SOPs to avoid COVID-19.

“We value your sacrifice and commitment and it’s our prayer that you Stay Safe as well during this Covid-19 era and after. You are the backbone of the healthcare service in Uganda and without you, there’s no service delivery,” Dr. Moriku said.
