Kampala tycoon in illegal water connection scandal

Field staffs of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) have unearthed water theft by a Kampala tycoon, Haruna Sentongo. The staff found illegal water connection at his Shopping Arcade which under construction in Mengo on Thursday last week and shamed the tycoon.

“We are unearthing an illegal water connection at Tycoon Haruna Sentongo’s Shopping Arcade under construction in Mengo. Customers who steal water deny many deserving Ugandans a right to safe water. Say No To Water Theft,” NWSC posted on social media.
