dfcu Bank has today met with commodity traders for a dialogue on, “Stimulating growth through Commodity trade from a regional and global perspective. The event, held at the Kampala Serena Hotel, in partnership with RaboBank brought together atleast 100 commodity traders and other key stakeholders in the agriculture value chain.

Speaking on the global demand trends, Gerald Low the Director, Senior Relationship Manager Rabobank Africarevealed that: “Global demand for Uganda produced commodities like coffee will grow whilst Ugandan macro trends show a greater demand for commodities such as wheat and Palm. Both trends provide growth opportunities for Uganda traders.”
