Latest news reaching our desk has it Captain Mamawi Sam Stephen is set to contest for MP Adjumani West Constituency parliamentary By-election to replace the fallen four star General Moses Ali.
In an exclusive report, the CDF Gen Muhoozi who is the the chairperson promotion and commission Board is set to give a go ahead to retire Captain Mamawi Sam Stephen to enable him participate in the forthcoming Adjumani West Parliamentary By-election.
Gen. Moses Ali died late last week at Nakasero Hospital and was laid to rest yesterday in a state burial.
Mr. Mamawi had previously expressed his interest in contesting for the seat but the general was still holding onto it.
