COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Uganda as 98 new cases are registered

Uganda has registered the highest number of cases in a single ever since the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.

The Ministry of Health has announced that results from COVID-19 tests done on 20 August 2020 confirm 98 new cases.

This brings the cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans to 1,848.

75 of the cases are from Kampala. The country has registered Recoveries: 1,199
