2026 Updates: Patrick Okiring determined to take Agule County seat in 12th Parliament

Patrick Okiring has officially declared his intentions to contest for Agule County constituency, Pallisa District in the 12th Parliament come 2026.

He said he has enough experience and stamina and believes he can put the Aspirations of Agule voters in the Legislative Assembly right.

He intends to espouse much on the health aspect to ensure longevity of lives of Agule people by advocating for increased budgets and supervision for this dire service.

The other issue is Education by provision of test questions at a very level as well as text books.

On Social Economic development, he intends to support pro people centered production and pocket friendly taxes.

Corruption is also going to be on top of his Agenda and his analysis is to give effect on the whistle blower act.

He said this can expose the corrupt and import the lifestyle audits to check any suspected primitive wealth accumulation both at the local and national levels.

Mr. Patrick Okiring is chartered Procurement and logistics chain consultant and holds two Diplomas in Supply and Logistics, Certificates in Human Resources, International Commercial Arbitration, International contracts procurement and Negotiations.

Okiring was the Special mobilizer for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni from 2016 to 2021 taking NRM to 53% win 2016 and 68% win in 2021 respectively.

With this Mobilisation acumen and exposure having been FDC District chair, FCD Eastern/Teso Regional coordinator, NEC Member, and Secretary for Internal Affairs FDC, Okiring sees this as the best chance to take on Agule.

All these have given him total confidence and experience to be able to represent the people of Agule County. He sees it as an easy task for him. Watch the space!!
