West Nile Investment Symposium set for August
West Nile Investment Symposium will be launched on August 8-9th 2019 at Muni University in Arua. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to be the Chief guest.
The two-day investment symposium, according to the chairman of the national organising committee, Robert Mwesigwa targets all universities, private sector companies, multinationals in Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, German/European Union companies, firms and organisations with businesses already involved or seeking to be involved in Uganda, North Eastern DRC and South Sudan.
The post harvesting training centre and business incubation centre which is under the Uganda – Germany Investment Symposium (UGIS) programme and supported by African Development Centre is to be launched by President Yoweri Kaguta Musevenii during the symposium, which is to take place from August 8 to August 9, 2019 at Muni University.
“The vision for this region aligns with Uganda’s Vision 2040 and African Union Agenda 2063. During the symposium, the President will also launch the Northern Uganda Region Development Forum,” Gen Saleh said.
