UNICEF received permission to use John Lennon’s inspirational song, IMAGINE, to lead the global Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC@25) commemoration events. The song is meant to generate significant public awareness and raise much needed funds in support of children’s rights. In Uganda, the IMAGINE campaign will be officially launched at this event where local artists will record their version of the ‘Imagine’ song and their ‘I imagine….’ statement as they call on the rest of the world to join the campaign. A global version of a ‘million voices’ from around the world will join in singing “Imagine” together to help children. Imagine a Uganda where children…..’Cindy SanyuCindy Sanyu
