Ugandan Beauty & Diversity showcased at Travel & Adventure show in Los Angeles

For over 3 days at the Travel and Adventure Show in Los Angeles, Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) joined the Uganda Embassy in Washington DC and several other Ugandan tour operators to showcase the beauty and diversity of Destination Uganda.

The Uganda stand attracted strong interest from travel advisors, media, influencers and travellers keen to learn more about gorilla trekking, wildlife safaris and Uganda’s rich cultural experiences.

The Ugandan Tourism team also had the opportunity to meet Phil Rosenthal (Netflix’s Somebody Feed Phil) to pitch Uganda as a potential filming destination, and Peter Greenberg, producer of the Hidden Uganda documentary, where they discussed the possibility of a screening in Washington DC to further spotlight destination Uganda.

Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) CEO Ms Juliana Kagwa has set her goals on driving Uganda’s Tourism sector to another level to attract record tourists as a way of boosting Uganda’s Economy.
