Uganda registers 8 new cases of COVID-19
The Ministry of Health has confirmed 8 news of COVID-19 in Uganda.
According to the Ministry, on 4th May, 2020, 8 new COVID-19 cases confirmed.
6 out of 2,061 samples of truck drivers while 2 cases are from the community confirmed from the Rapid Assessment Survey.
5 truck drivers arrived via Malaba border post while 1 arrived via Mutukula point of entry.
1 community case, a resident of Kyotera District while the other is a Ugandan truck driver from Mutukula.
The Total COVID-19 confirmed cases in Uganda is 97.
A total of 2,246 samples were tested today: 2,246 and Total discharges stands at 55.
