Uganda national football team ‘The Uganda Cranes’ safely arrived at Port Gentil in Gabon yesterday ahead of their first African Cup of Nations (AFCON) opener against bitter rivals Ghana.
Uganda Cranes will play their first AFCON 2017 game against Ghana on Tuesday before facing Egypt and Mali in the group stages.
The first games of the tournament which kicked off yesterday between Gabon and Guinea Bissau and Cameroon and Burkina Faso all ended in a 1-1 all draw.
The actions continues today with Algeria V Zimbabwe 16:00 and Tunisia V Senegal 19:00.
