Uganda Tourism Board-UTB CEO Juliana Kagwa has hailed the two new flights to Kigali and Accra launched by Uganda Airlines today.
To Ms Juliana Kagwa; For tourism, every new air route is a bridge between people, cultures, businesses and opportunities.

“Today our national carrier, Uganda Airlines launched two new direct flights to Accra and Kigali. Two strategic gateways that strengthen Uganda’s connection to West Africa and enhance mobility within East Africa.

The future of our sector will not only be driven by overseas travelers, it will increasingly be shaped by Africans choosing to explore our motherland,” Juliana Kagwa said.
“The direct flights allow for shorter travel times making simple pleasures like impromptu weekend getaways a reality. Business travel for investors within or outside of our sector will now be arranged at the drop of a hat. Regional conferences become more attractive. Families reconnect more often. Tour operators can confidently develop multi-country itineraries that combine experiences across East and West Africa, giving high-value travelers reason to spend more time and more resources … on the continent. We look forward to all our value chain players taking full advantage of the new routes. Hongera Uganda Airlines, onwards and upwards,” Ms Juliana Kagwa added.
