Government Chief Whip Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has welcomed the head of Orthodox Church in the world his Holiness Patriarch Theodore II.
He is in Uganda to mourn the late His Eminence Jonah Lwanga who died some weeks ago.
“This afternoon on behalf of Govt i received His Holiness Patriarch Theodore II head of the Orthodox Church who has come to mourn the late His Eminence Jonah Lwanga. He thanked government for giving an official burial to His Eminence and will meet H.E Kaguta Museveni later this week,” Hon. Thomas Tayebwa tweeted.
