Salvado to fundraise and donate to underprivileged children at his one man show
As he kicked off the campaign to his second one-man show- Man From Ombokolo2 (MFO2), comedian Patrick Idringi aka Salvado together with his girlfriend Daphine Frankstock and members of his MFO2 team, travelled to Home of Hope, a centre for children with severe or multiple disabilities in Jinja.
It was not the first time Salvado and his team were visiting the underprivileged children; but on this particular visit, Salvado and friends made an announcement that could make a change for the kids.
The comedian and friends announced that they would donate part of the proceeds from ‘Man From Ombokolo2’ show slated for this Friday October 27th, to the home.
“We have been to the home more over four times, and we have donated each time we have visited. And we noticed that in addition to feeding, the children have special needs such as daily medication, additional staff for significant care plus therapists to help the children improve physically, and eventually a clinic since the children are at times denied medication in certain hospitals,” Salvado told us.
The comedian told us that for every MFO2 ticket purchased, a percentage will go support the Home of Hope!
“I also urge all my friends and fans that are looking forward to attend my show, to carry something for the Home of Hope; “everything counts; even if its 1k,” Salvado added.
The Singleton sponsored Man From Ombokolo 2 is slated for this Friday October 27 at Imperial Royale Hotel. Entrance is Shs100,000 per head and Shs3m for a table!
