NWSC warns customers of pending disconnection

National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has called on its customers to clear their pending water bills to zero to avoid disconnection and paying fine fees. NWSC is moving around disconnecting those pending bills and the water has advised customers to pay their bills so as to avoid unnecessary inconveniences.

“Dear customer, our disconnection teams is in your area. Kindly clear your bill to zero and avoid unnecessary inconveniences and payment of a re-connection fee,” NWSC posted.

Meanwhile in a related development, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has warned its customers that theft of water by tempering with or bypassing water meter is dangerous and punishable by the arm of the law. The water body said the tempering costs them billions of shillings every year which also affects every paying customer.

“Theft of water by tampering with or bypassing water meters not only costs National Water and Sewerage Corporation billions of shillings a year, but also imposes costs on each and every paying customer. Water theft is a serious offense and can result in significant fines as well as criminal prosecution by NWSC. Stop Water Theft,” NWSC posted.
