National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) hosted Muslim community to Iftar yesterday at its International Resource Centre, Bugolobi. The water body hosted them to a dinner ending their fast. NWSC Managing Director Eng. Silver Mugisha handed over Eid packages to them after the dinner.
“We hosted our Muslim brothers and sisters for Iftar to share in the spirit of Eid alfitr, the “festival of ending the fast” at National Water and Sewerage Corporation International Resource Center Bugolobi (IREC). During the dinner, NWSC Managing Director Dr.Eng Silver Mugisha handed over Eid packages to our dear customers.
“The prophet said:”Charity is a necessity for every Muslim.” He was asked:”What if a person has nothing? “The prophet replied: He should work with his own hands for his benefit and then give something out of such earnings in Charity.” NWSC gave back to its dear brothers and sisters from the Disabled Muslim Association. The annual activity is done during the holy month of Ramadan,” NWSC. Big up NWSC!
