National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) through its field staff has discovered new tricks used by clients to steal water.
Today morning during the continued crackdown on illegal water connection in National Housing Estates Naalya, NWSC team found out that some customers remove water meters to cheat the water body.
Some of the customers who were found guilty of the act were apprehended by the authority. NWSC continues to call upon Ugandans to desist from water theft, a thing that has denied many deserving genuine customers rights to safe water.
“Some customers in National Housing Estate Naalya remove water meters to cheat NWSC. Customers who steal water deny many deserving customers are right to safe water. Water Theft..This is shocking!” NWSC posted.
