NWSC completes largest waste water treatment plant in East & Central Africa
National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has completed works at the largest waste water treatment plant in East and Central Africa.

The plant is located in Bugolobi and has capacity to treat 45,000,000 litres per day and generate 630kw of power.
NWSC has also rehabilitated and expanded the Nakivubo and Kinawataka sewers (29 km).

A new 9,000,000 litres per day pre-treatment plant and pumping stations has also been commissioned as we work to improve the sanitation situation in Kampala.
