NRM candidates win by elections in Hoima & Kaabong Districts

National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party flag bearers have swept victories in yesterday’s by elections in Hoima and Kaabong Districts. 
In Hoima District Woman MP seat, Harriet Businge Mugenyi has been declared winner after pulling 33, 301 votes against Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate Nakato Asanansi who scored 28,789 votes. Having obtained the largest number of votes, Harriet was declared winner by Matsiko Douglas, the Returning Officer Hoima District.
In related development another NRM candidate in Kaabong comfortably defeated her FDC rival.
Candidate Tubo Christine Nakwang casting her vote at Police primary School polling station yesterday 

Tubo Nakwang Christine was declared winner by Returning Officer Kaabong District, Ogwang Julius Ongom after she attained largest numbers of votes.

Christine obtained 22, 532 votes while FDC’s Adyaka Judith Ongom obtained 1, 692 votes.
These latest victories favour NRM party ahead of 2021 general elections.
