NIC Netball team finally loses title

On Sunday (yesterday) afternoon at Namboole, the mighty NIC Netball team defended their champions title to the core against the Prison’s netball team in the National Netball league2016.

The NIC netball ladies who have held the national champions title for the last 18 years finally lost it yesterday when the Prisons team beat them by 35 – 32 and were declared champions.

“Well ladies, the NIC family is proud of you for putting up a good fight and to the brand you will always be the champs. Superwomen,” NIC.

Meanwhile NIC Holdings who are the insurers of the National football team have called on Ugandans to come in big numbers on Saturday at Namboole Stadium for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers between Uganda Cranes and Congo Brazzaville. The game will kick off at 4pm with gate fee at 25k and 60k respectively.
