My Dream Is To Become World Entertainer – Badman
No.1 Suspect Badman is a young Ugandan talented musician based in Cape Town, South Africa whose dream has always been to be one of the top musicians entertaining in the world.
Most of his music is based on our day to day lifestyle. He sings in different languages; English, Luganda, Swahili, Kinyarwanda and Runyankore. In his interview, he said he is not focusing on entertaining a specific group of people but the World as a whole and that is the reason as to why he prefers being multilingual.
His music is more of Reggae and dancehall. Two years ago, he performed at a concert that featured Jamaica’s best Capleton and King Shango. He went on and made collaboration with Bobi Wine, Nubian Lee and Facee Off titled ‘Ganyoke’. This song has made it big in Uganda and just as this song was fading away, he hit the airwaves with his big tune ‘Byansi Ssemwanga’ in which he advises people not to disrespect and mistreat others because of their positions.
He has crossed borders with his Kinyarwanda hit ‘Wine Glass’ which is on high demand and has left many people in Rwanda on their feet. The artist is yet to perform at the big concert alongside Jamaica’s reggae legend Luciano which will take place in Cape Town on the 26th of October 2014.
