Sironko District Woman Member of Parliament Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo has lauded West Budama North East MP Hon. Richard Owere Machika for being an exemplary servant to his people. She urged political leaders to prioritize practical solutions that improve the lives of ordinary Ugandans.
She made the remarks on Saturday, July 25, 2026, while attending a thanksgiving ceremony organized by Hon Machika in Tororo District to thank God and the people of West Budama North East Constituency for electing him as the area Member of Parliament.
The thanksgiving ceremony was organized to celebrate Hon. Owere Machika’s election as Member of Parliament for West Budama North East Constituency and to appreciate residents for the confidence they placed in his leadership.
Congratulating Owere on his election victory, Hon Mafabi commended the people of West Budama North East for entrusting leadership to a person she said has consistently demonstrated commitment to community development.
She particularly applauded Owere’s investment in healthcare, citing his support towards emergency medical services through the donation of ambulances to improve access to healthcare for communities.
