Kawempe North Updates: Hajjat Hanifah Karadi continues mobilisation as she goes independent in the Kawempe North MP seat by election

Former Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has continued to gain the ground in her quest for Kawempe North MP seat by election due next month.

After she was over looked by NRM for the flag bearer position, Ms Karadi decided to contest as an independent and most of top NRM big wigs including Hon. Rose Seninde are supporting her. She has set her eyes on the Kawempe North MP seat to replace the deceased Hon. Mohammad Ssegirinya who died last month.

She wants to see effective and accountable leadership in the area.

Karadi who has been a resident of the area since her university days, says she knows the needs and problems of Kawempe North people and how to solve them.

She is gaining ground as she continues to mobilise for support.

“This woman reminds me of a story in the bible Luke 19 where some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples to keep quiet

I tell you,” Jesus replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

Kindly my NRM party leaders humble yourselves and listen to us the people you lead its point clear we at the grassroots have Hajjat Hanifah Karadi as our choice. Respect us the voters before you sink our dear party in the deepest part of the sea because of your hidden agendas,” Kenneth, a voter said.
