Captain Mamawi Sam Stephen has appeared as favourite to replace deceased Gen. Moses Ali as the new Member of Parliament(MP) for Adjumani West Constituency in Adjumani District.
The Electoral Commission is set to organize fresh parliamentary By-election to replace the fallen four star General Moses Ali.
Now the UPDF captain who had previously expressed interest in the seat is now seen as strong favorite to take on the legacy of Late veteran politician in the forthcoming by- election.
Gen. Moses Ali died late last week at Nakasero Hospital and was laid to rest mid this week in a state burial in his ancestral home in Adjumani.
