

Entrepreneurship courses focusing on Agriculture value addition

Kentim University Uganda (project) in collaboration with Rotary Satellite Club Kasangati Kyanja Metropolitan has offered free training to 50 youth (Aged between 18-30 years) to study Entrepreneurship short course focusing on hands-on Agriculture Value Addition.

These are Entrepreneurship courses focusing on Agriculture value addition and covers selected items in our community and how to undertake to add value on them.
The training focuses on 5 areas below:- (Or any additional item(s) the students may choose for purposes of understanding the power of value addition e.g.,
1 Kg of raw G-nuts is 5,000shs while a Kg of roasted G-nuts is 15,000shs. Such a product can be picked to demonstrate how value addition increases profits.

- Yogurt making from milk
- Winemaking from pineapple
- Tomato Sauce/chili Sauce from Tomatoes
- Liquid soap making
- Candle making
