Emergency Plant Shutdown At Katosi Water Works

The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation wishes to inform its valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply tomorrow Tuesday 13th December, 2022 from 7am to 6pm

This is to allow Contractor Sogea Satom handle emergency works at the plant intake pumping station.

Subsequently, water supply to Mukono, Seeta, Parts of Namugongo, Kyaliwajjala, Kira, Nsasa, Bulindo and the surrounding areas, Sonde, parts of Mutungo, Bukoto, Naguru, Ntinda and the surrounding areas will be affected by the works.

Customers are therefore advised to store water and use it sparingly as it takes time for the system to stabilize after a total plant shutdown.

All inconveniences are highly regretted.
