Dr. Stella Nyanzi finally caged

Tough and motor mouthed educationist, Dr. Stella Nyanzi has been arrested, we can confirm. Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima confirmed to this website that its true Stella Nyanzi was in Police custody.

She was picked from Mackinnon Suites Hotel last evening where she was a guest speaker at The Rotary Club of Kampala Metropolitan function where the topic was Menstruation, Girl Education and Development..The sustainability in Uganda. Nyanzi has been in a war of words abusing President Yoweri Museveni, First Lady and the NRM government calling them all sort of names on social media. She has also been accused of using vulgar language.

The PhD holder is also spearheading a campaign to provide sanitary pads to school girls in the needy schools of Uganda. Police sources she will be produced to court on Monday and charged with Cyber harassment and offensive communication.

Stella was picked before addressing the above function

“What really makes Dr. Stella Nnyanzi’s case so special? True, she is arrested ready to be arraigned in court on two counts: First, Cyber harassment c/s 24 of the Computer Misuse Act of 2011 and Offensive communication c/25 of the same law. He is in our police facilities, period. Ask no more questions please,” Emilian Kayima said.

Stella Nyanzi confirmed the arrest with a post on her wall minutes before she was taken in.

“Stella has been arrested by unknown state agents. She was picked up after the Rotary Fellowship that she addressed this evening,” Stella Nyanzi posted last evening.
