Customers to access dfcu’s Personal Unsecured Loan within 2 days

dfcu Customers will, for a limited time only, access personal unsecured loans of up to UGX 150 million at a competitive interest rate as low as 17.5% per annum. According to dfcu Bank’s Head Personal Banking, Miranda Bageine Musoke, customers will be able to apply in minutes and have money on their account within two days.

“The uncertainties of life will require that customers seek credit facilities in a timely manner and at a competitive cost.  By offering personalunsecured loans of up to UGX 150 million at as low as 17.5% within a day, we are meeting the needs of today’s customers who want a safe, fast and affordable way to borrow money. This campaign will be running until April 2019,” said Miranda.

The additional benefits include; up to UGX 800 000 salary protection cover for up to 3 months (for salaried customers); hospital cash of UGX50,000 per day for 10 days; funeral expenses of UGX2,000,000 million and a tenure of 60 months or within the contract.

“In line with our brand promise of Making More Possible we are continually improving our products and services to ensure they meet the growing needs of our customers,” added Miranda.

In 2018, the dfcu salary account was enhanced to include insurance in form of Salary protection cover against job loss due to redundancy with pricing reduced to make it more attractive. Changes related to pricing include a reduction in account opening balance from UGX20, 000 to UGX10, 000, minimum operating balance from UGX20,000 to UGX 10,000 and maintenance fees reduced from UGX5, 000 to UGX3, 500.
