Betway team up with Kampala Old Boys RFC
Betway have announced a strategic partnership with Kampala Old Boys RFC that will see the online bookmaker become the principal sponsor of the historic club.
As part of the partnership, Betway will be the shirt sponsor of the 11-time national league champions and one of the most recognizable brands in Ugandan sport, who will be renamed Betway KOBS.

The investment into Ugandan rugby will see the six-time Uganda Cup champions able to increase opportunities for the public to play and support rugby with one of the oldest sporting teams in East Africa.
In April, Betway signed ex-England rugby world cup winner Mike Tindall and former Ireland star David Wallace as official ambassadors. Richard Akitt, CEO of Betway said: “Launching the Betway brand into Africa has been on our roadmap for some time.
The recent success of the Rugby World Cup gives added impetus to our partnership with KOBS and we are looking forward to Betway KOBS continuing their tradition of excellence in Ugandan sport.” “We’ve got high hopes for the market and are planning to expand into other countries in due course”.
