Anite, Tecno Mobile team in major investment business
The Minister of State for Finance in charge of Investments Hon. Anite Evelyn has today met with investors from Tecno Mobile who planning to invest in the country.
The Minister after revealed positive news from the meeting. The group wants to establish a handset assembly plant in the country. She said plans are final touches to establish the plant.
“I had a productive meeting with investors from Tecno mobile who are planning to establish a handset assembly plant in Uganda. The plant has the potential to reduce the cost of phones for the millions of subscribers in the market & also create jobs for youth in the labor force.
