Amaku, Shaban and Serunkuuma win big in the inaugural Fortebet Player of Month awards

Fortebet to award best players who flourish in a given month

The best performing players Muhammad Shaban of KCCA, Fred Amaku of Kirinya Kinja SS and Dan Sserunkuma of Vipers have been awarded by Fortbet for their outstanding performances for the player of the months November, December and February respectively.

Muhammad Shaban who recently switched to KCCA from Onduparaka FC scored a hat trick on his debut and his outstanding performance in the month of November scoring six goals made him achieve the award. Shaban was voted November player of the month.

Fred Amaku achieved this for his outstanding performance with that lonely goal he scored as his club Kirinya Jinja SS played KCCA and he scored the lone goal as they lost 2-1. He also scored when his team was playing SC Villa.

Dan Sserunkuma switched from Express FC to Sc Vipers and on his debut he scored the goal which helped his club maximise the points in Kavumba as they played Soana.

Fred Amaku took the December player of the month accolade. On his second game he scored a brace as they hosted league debutants Mbarara City and currently he is the top scorer in the Azam Uganda Premier League with nine goals.

Bright Makara, the Fortbet CEO said they will extend support to other leagues not only the top flight.

“We expect to extend more support to football not only the top flight league but also other Leagues and we shall offer what we can.”

Each player moved away with an accolade and a cheque worth Five hundred thousand shillings from Fortbet. Fortebet Uganda has been awarding the men of the match with a cash prize of 100,000/= since November 2017.
