South Africa based Ugandan socialite and entrepreneur, Katumba Shafique aka Katsha De’bank has an important message out there.
He has advised parents to educate their children fully so as to create future well off families. The philanthropist wants to do this through his ‘Katsha Foundation’.
He said, “Education is life and without education the life at this planet earth is miserable. Considering this statement who knows better than the citizens of the third world country about the significance and importance of the education.
The African continent is suffering not because of absence of talent but it is due to low literacy rate of our region.
Considering the importance of education in development of society at large, we at The Katsha Foundation have pledged our resolve to change the lives of our fellow country men by playing our role in education development of the vulnerable segment of the society.
The Katsha Foundation is actively engaged in number of charitable projects but the area of education is close to the heart of Mr. Shafique Katumba alias Katsha De’bank who is the founder of this foundation. His love for education is known to all and he has become an example to show the world that with education you can achieve anything in this world.
His love for education is also evident from the educational initiatives of our foundation. He is love for education is based on a dream. A dream where no child is out of school. A dream where children are enjoying their youthful days in schools instead at labour markets.
Therefore, he has visioned a dream wherein children from down trodden part of society will be groomed to be a valuable part of society. His dream of educational institute is quite distinct in nature as he desires to establish a boarding school where children from down trodden class of the society will be admitted and they will be provided with quality and matchless education.
The beauty of his vision does not stop here. Those admitted children will not only be educated at the school level but they will be financed and properly looked after till their graduation from the higher education institutes in order to make them a valuable resource for this society and the planet. Mr. De’bank knows this huge task requires diligence and extra effort but he has full trust and confidence at his team at the foundation. Therefore, he and his team at the Katsha Foundation are ready to execute this dream to build the future generation of Uganda as they consider education as the fresh air which we breathe.
