2026 Updates: Jimmy Lukwago launches campaign for Kira Municipality MP seat officially

Kira Municipality MP hopeful Hon. Jimmy Lukwago aka Kira Young yesterday officially launched his quest for the seat at his residence in Najjera.

He is contesting on the ticket of the National Unity Platform (NUP) party and he will come up against many others including his rival counsel George Musisi and incumbent Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.

During the launch yesterday, Mr. Jimmy called on the people of Kira Municipality to give him the mandate to serve them in the 12th Parliament. He said the people of Kira Municipality are eager to see his leadership which he says will be full of performance.

For the last five years, Jimmy Lukwago has been involved in supporting several sectors of education, sports, health, religion and general infrastructure in the Municipality.
