Abahumuza Development Group in partnership with Lato Milk and Koyinawo have launched a waste bankers system in Mbarara at City council Offices.
Waste bankers help people in the city not to litter trash that end up in River Rwizi by correcting garbage in one place for easy management.
This was yesterday and representatives from three parties promised to continue working together in the better of conserving the environment.
The launch comes ahead of ‘Save River Rwizi Marathon’ slated for July 30th with a starting point at Ankole Mall Rwebikoona, Mbarara City. Participating fee is 20k per kit.
The Marathon is organized by Abahumuza Development Group and sponsored by Lato Milk, Capital FM to mention but a few.
