Vivo Energy Uganda rewards KCCA Football Club 2018\2019 premier league Top Scorer with UGX 3M Cash Prize

Vivo Energy Uganda has awarded a cash prize of 3 million shillings to the KCCA FC top scorer in the recently concluded 2018/2019 premier league.

According to Emmanuel Ssebunya, Brand Manager Fuels – Vivo Energy Uganda, the cash prize to the top scorer is meant to recognize the hard work he put in the game.

“I would like to appreciate and congratulate KCCA FC for winning the recently concluded 2018/2019 StarTimes Uganda Premier League. We are extremely proud to be working with champions like KCCA FC.” Ssebunya said.

Vivo Energy Uganda gave a sponsorship package of UGX 32M to KCCA FC for the Uganda premier league.

The Ag Chief Executive Officer of the football club AnishaShahir Muhoozi said, ‘We sincerely appreciate the support we have received from Vivo Energy Uganda over the years and hope that this association will be maintained in our future endeavors. Today we pride ourselves as being one of the biggest sporting brands and football champions in the country.”

KCCA FC were crowned champions of the 2018/2019 Star Times Uganda Premier League after playing out a one-all draw against Ndejje University in April at the Arena of visions in Ndejje.

To celebrate the win, the football club held a procession drive through Kampala town to showcase their trophy among their fans and the general public. The procession went through the five divisions of Kampala including Nakawa, Kawempe, Rubaga, Makindye and wound up into an awards ceremony at the Star Times stadium in Lugogo.
