This Saturday, from 7:00am to 10:00am, an important event will unfold in Kiti zone, Kisenyi Parish, Kampala.
Her Excellency Vice President Jessica Alupo will lead Ugandans in launching the National Cleaning Days Initiative, with Kiti hosting this significant event.
The Vice President will also participate in the inaugural cleaning activities, together with other Government of Uganda national leaders and members of the general public in the same area.
Earlier this week, Prime Minister Rt. Hon.Nabbanja Robinah , accompanied by Honourable Ministers, Deputy Head of Public Service Jane Mwesiga, Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Government Agencies, announced the upcoming launch of the initiative.
Following the launch, Ugandans across the country will participate in cleaning activities in their communities every last Saturday of the month, from 7:00am to 10:am.
