The musician known by his stage name Jajja Mwami was killed from Swazi Inn Tembisa in South Africa.
Another Ugandan artist based in South Africa, Hassan Lode aka Mafia Tornado took to his social media to mourn fallen comrade and a friend.
“We lost a friend, a musician.
Ugandan artist based in South Africa, RIP Jajja Mwami until we meet again,” Mafia posted on his wall.
