

Uganda gets 4 new COVID-19 cases as President is set to address the nation on COVID-19 Response
COVID-19 cases in Uganda reached 79 last night as 4 Tanzanian truck drivers tested for the positive for the deadly disease caused by Coronavirus.
The Ministry confirmed that 4 new COVID-19 cases confirmed out of the 1,578 samples tested among truck drivers.
All confirmed cases are Tanzanian truck drivers who arrived via Mutukula border.
The Ministry said 411 samples from communities tested negative for COVID-19.
Total samples tested were 1,989
As of today, Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 stand at 79 in Uganda.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will this Tuesday address the nation in regard to COVID-19 fight.

“H.E President Kaguta Museveni will this Tuesday 28/04/2020 address the nation on COVID-19 response. The address will air on all TVs and Radios nationwide. Part of the highlights will include his decision on truck drivers who are testing positive for Coronavirus,” State House said.
