Uganda confirms 13 new cases of COVID-19

The Ministry of Health has confirmed 13 new positive cases of COVID-19 caused by Coronavirus.
Today, 13 May, 2020, 13 new COVID-19 cases confirmed from 1,741 samples of truck drivers. This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 139 in Uganda.

The new cases are 7 Ugandans, 5 Kenyans and 1 Eritrean who arrived from Tanzania, South Sudan and Kenya via Mutukula, Elegu and Malaba borders.

All 363 community samples have tested negative for COVID-19 and Total samples tested today: 2,104.
