Multi-talented Kenyan-Norwegian artiste Stella Mwangi of the hit songs: “Haba Haba”, “Biashara”, “Lookie Lookie” and “Hoola Hoop” featuring Mohombi, announces an upcoming big music project that will feature world-class music producers and a worldly sound. Talking to her fans directly via her Instagram account, she said, “I am coming out with new music – finally! I’ve been silent for the last months because I have been in the studio,” adding, “It’s so uplifting and energetic. Await a brand new worldwide release coming out soon …”
Stella Mwangi is one of Africa’s most unique female artistes in the genres of hip hop/rap, afro pop, reggae, dance and world music. The singer/songwriter is also a rapper, live performer, creative music director and social entrepreneur. Since 2014, Stella hasn’t put her own new music. However, she has featured in several successful music collaborations and performed in two music projects/campaigns: Chukua Hatua and Identify Yourself. During the hiatus, Stella also went to school to study Social Economics, Maths and History. She also kick-started Vaa Ki Afrika – a sprouting Scandinavian web store selling Kenyan fashion abroad.
