Spare parts business woman walks away with 10 million
A business woman in Kampala has won Shs10 million in the ongoing Beera Millionaire promotion by Airtel Uganda.
Paula Nakato who intends to finish her house in Gayaza with the 10 million, is among the 42 lucky winners for this week.
“I use Airtel Money to send and receive money. I also buy Airtime and data using the same. I am very happy that I am going to be able to finish my house and also see my business grow with this money,” the excited Nakato said as she received her money.
“Thank you Airtel. I encourage everyone to continue to use Airtel for all transactions, you could also be a lucky winner like me.”
Launched in December last year, the promotion which is now entering its 9th week has so far turned over 300 subscribers into millionaires. Nine Airtel Money agents have won motorcycles.
Airtel customers stand a chance to be among the 5 daily lucky winners of Shs1 million each or the 10 million weekly prize. Five Airtel agents stand a chance to win a motorbike or Shs1 million weekly. There are only 3 more draws left to end the Beera millionaire promotion.
You can also pay for all your utility bills using Airtel money. According to the legal commercial manager, Airtel Uganda, Hudson Katumba, “you can now use Airtel money to pay for all your utility bills, electricity, water and even pay school fees. You do not have to line up in the bank for all those hours, you can now pay for all your bills using Airtel money.”
The ‘Beera Millionaire with Airtel Money’, will continue to run until March 2019 and all winners will be rewarded on a weekly basis. All participating customers and agent numbers will be uploaded into a randomizer to pick the lucky winners. Five lucky customers will win 1 million shillings each (5 million shillings daily, 1 million for each) and 1 lucky customer will win 10 million shillings in the weekly grand draw. 1 lucky agent will stand a chance to win 1 million shillings daily and 1 lucky agent will win 1 motorbike in the weekly draw.
